Pussycat, pussycat, what did you there? I frightened a little mouse under her chair.

"A blog?" you say, "she's writing a blog?!"

That's right. This way, you can keep track of my misadventures as I spend 12 weeks in London, pursuing an unpaid internship at the University College of London. I'll be working on a research project called "Heritage in Hospitals", where I'll be bringing artefacts to patients and seeing if it helps them feel any less anxious or bored with being in the hospital. Should be very interesting...

As tempting as it is, I'm really hoping to not talk too much about this museum and that museum, this daytrip and that sightseeing tour, or how using "pants" instead "trousers" made for the funniest, little incident... Instead, I'm really hoping that it will provide me a chance to do some "serious" travel writing. Ha! We'll see, won't we?!

Look at you with a blog! I'll be sure to keep up with your London adventures all summer. And, you know, if you have any Heather-like mishaps, be sure to post those, too.

Adventure is the spice of life and you are embarking on adventure, to be sure. Be bold like the pussycat. Avoid being the mouse.

Happy Trails!

Greetings, Sonjel, from Aunt Pat and Uncle Reggie! So, you're in London---How cool is that?! And no wonder we couldn't reach you at your Halifax number. We also have not been able to reach your parents at their Charlottetown number. (I know it's tacky to leave messages for your parents on YOUR blog, but: Call us, Alanna and Paul!) Lov'ya Sonjel!

Love your blog! Particularly the photo of the open wooden gate at the back entrance to the cemetery. I want a copy of this photo! About rhubard: Grandpa V's favorite. We ate stewed rhubarb, rhubarb sauce for vanilla ice cream, and rhubard pies when it was in season here. One year I made him seven or eight pies! I eat a large carton of vanilla yougurt every week. So, as to food we are on the same page. luv u, grandma
